On 5/31/2014, Mark and I got MARRIED! :) It was a beautiful day with family and friends. I couldn't have asked for a more happy and love-filled day of celebrating!
After a week, we're on preparing to go on our honeymoon to Cozumel and Playa Paraiso, MEXICO! Woo! Mark had loved Keith and Kenna's destination wedding spot and I liked the idea of relaxing/snorkeling, so it was decided.
I'm being adventurous and only packing a backpack worth of belongings! If anyone has seen me pack, I always overpack. I need a new outfit for every day, tons of "just in case" clothes, what if I need some more socks and shoes there, etc.
Tomorrow, after a day at the San Diego Fair with the Frilles family, Mark and I are on the red-eye to Atlanta then flying into Cozumel. Our first stop is at Cozumel Palace for three nights. It is located right on the water, near the center of town and shops. I plan on eating, drinking, snorkeling, shopping, and doing as much as possible!
Next stop, we're crossing over to the mainland on the ferry to Playa Del Carmen. We'll be heading to Iberostar Grand Hotel Paraiso for the next four nights. They are top-rated and looking at pictures of the place, that seems like it deserves it! It's a HUGE resort and I'm SO excited to walk around there! The beach is not as snorkel-friendly as Cozumel, so I'm thinking most of the relaxing will be done here. Margaritas and guacamole are calling my name!
Check-in for flights is just about now, so time to finish packing, check-in the flight, and get some rest to enjoy the fair!
